Sounds Nice

Parallel to Art Basel, Gare du Nord presents «Sounds Nice» for the first time. A vibrant mix of performances, installations, and concerts unfolds at the crossroads of music, performance, and visual art – accompanied by DJ sets and a party mood.
Thursday’s highlights are two performances under the title «from scratch», as well as the «Liquid Lounge» with liquid drum and bass.

from scratch
Artists Marie Delprat, Tom Lane and Mikołaj Rytowski give insight into their current creative work and projects.
At 20:00, Marie Delprat and Tom Lane present the audiovisual performance «I dreamt of fire» – a poetically condensed narrative told through image, sound, and movement.
At 21:00, «the snare drum project» by Mikołaj Rytowski follows – a sound performance for snare drum, electronics, and spatial resonance.

Liquid Lounge
The former restaurant in the Badischer Bahnhof transforms into the «Liquid Lounge». Playful, unusual, quirky – maybe even a bit eccentric. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests can move to the melodies, harmonies, and sounds of liquid drum and bass, or simply engage in conversation and chill.
