How is a piece of music created? What does a sound designer actually do? And what happens behind the scenes of a music production?

«Mittendrin» is an educational program offered by Gare du Nord for school classes, university groups and other interested groups looking for direct access to the world of new music. During exclusive discussions with musicians, composers and sound performers, participants gain direct insights into rehearsal processes, composition methods and artistic working methods. On request, the program can be adapted to current curriculum topics in order to pick up on relevant content from the classroom.
