«S' zähni Gschichtli»
Since 2004, gare des enfants has been organizing concerts and shows for curious young ears ages 5 and up. From the very beginning, the goal has been not simply to offer children’s concerts, but above all to actively involve children in the performances—especially through in-house productions. In addition to its popular family concerts, gare des enfants organizes the Zähnigschichtli, a concert series specifically for preschoolers, in which 30 to 40 Basel preschools participate each year.
HARPAPIER
Using newspaper, cardboard, string, and a harp, an actress and a harpist tell poetic stories.
Through the interplay of music and materials, children experience how diverse sounds can be and how objects can transform: as quiet as a butterfly, rustling loudly, or mysterious. Objects hide secrets, clutter disappears, and paper suddenly grows legs.
Harpapier invites preschoolers to look closely, listen attentively, and discover what can emerge from paper, sound, and imagination.

- Time
The performances begin at 10:00 a.m. If more than 2-3 classes register for each time slot, there will be two performances, one at 9:00 a.m. and one at 10:10 a.m. Those interested are asked to indicate their preference when registering.
