«Nachtstrom» stands for electrifying sound research and brings diverse forms of electronic music to the stage. The evening combines new works for contrabass clarinet and electronics with the performance «ERRO.», which uses «algorithm-bending» to create a radical aesthetic of sonic error.

This evening marks Marcus Weiss's farewell to the «Dialog» eries at Gare du Nord after eighteen formative years. In his final concert as host, musician and discussion partner, he looks back on an intense period of exchange about contemporary music together with artists, companions and the audience.

«La Minka» is a composer-performer project by Fernando Manassero with two guest musicians. Inspired by the Andean tradition of «minka», music is created as a collective process in which individual musical languages are brought together and further developed in alternating solo and trio formations.

As part of the «Echoes & Origins» workshop series, young people from a variety of backgrounds spent five weeks working on their own tracks alongside coaches from HitProducer. To round off the series, the concert hall will open its doors for a joint listening session, during which the participants will present their work and offer an insight into their creative processes.

Instead of a tabula rasa strategy, they show how the respectful renovation of existing buildings and targeted additions can create a new, community-oriented whole.

At the heart of «what about now» is the encounter between acoustic and electronic sound sources and the tension between analogue and digital media. This relationship is explored in new works created especially for the Nikel Ensemble.

Mikołaj Rytowski has invited Etienne Nillesen and Fabrizio di Salvo to this Sonic Boom evening. Three distinct artistic approaches explore the snare drum. Through sound research, sculptural approaches and spatial configurations, the instrument emerges as a resonating body and a field of experimentation beyond its familiar role.

As part of the series «Ein Haus...», Florian Nagler talks about the principle of «Einfach Bauen». In view of increasing technical and regulatory complexity, he uses three research houses in Bad Aibling to show how reduced, robust construction methods can be implemented in a concrete and sustainable manner.
