ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music

A large ensemble, brought together through an open call by Stefano Grasso, explores collective decision-making through an experimental system that reflects on power structures, communication, intentions, relationships and interactions between improvising musicians.

As part of «ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music» by the University of Music FHNW Basel – students from the departments of Audio Design, Composition, Open Creation, and Contemporary Music present their current artistic projects. The programme features original compositions, performances, improvisations, and works by contemporary composers. Concerts take place over several days in varying formats and line-ups.
