Yeeun Go presents three works for various ensemble constellations: a sextet («WEavINg»), a saxophone quartet («TBD») and a work for percussion octet («Orbit»). The instrumentation includes bass flute, baritone saxophone, electric guitar, accordion, harp, and a large percussion ensemble. The central focus is the sonic exploration of structure, dynamics, and instrumental combinations.
As part of «ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music» at the FHNW School of Music Basel, students from the fields of audio design, composition, open creation and contemporary music will present their current artistic projects. Original compositions, performances, improvisations and works by contemporary composers will be presented. The concerts will take place over several days in different formats and line-ups.
