The collective «The Girlz» performs works by Luigi Nono, Georges Aperghis, Kate Soper, and Lisa Streich. The instrumentation spans flute and clarinet to voice, accordion, guitar, live electronics, and cello. The hour-long concert showcases diverse compositional approaches – from poetic text settings to electroacoustic sound processing.
As part of «ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music» by the University of Music FHNW Basel – students from the departments of Audio Design, Composition, Open Creation, and Contemporary Music present their current artistic projects.
