ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music

The second concert by «The Girlz» features works by Alvin Lucier, Christian Mason, Liza Lim, Clara Iannotta, Per Nørgård, and Lisa Streich. The pieces are composed for solo instruments, ensemble, and voice. The musicians explore a wide sonic range, including microtonal and electroacoustic elements.

As part of «ATTACCA – Festival for Contemporary Music» by the University of Music FHNW Basel – students from the departments of Audio Design, Composition, Open Creation, and Contemporary Music present their current artistic projects. The programme features original compositions, performances, improvisations, and works by contemporary composers. Concerts take place over several days in varying formats and line-ups.
